This week's question is from
Mohit:
What advice would you give to someone who is new to iOS, say with 3-4 years of experience, especially in this fast AI revolution?
Mohit is completely right that the AI revolution is moving fast. New products pop up everywhere, and it feels like every existing product has to mention AI at least somewhere to still make a difference.
Whether you’re an experienced developer or not, the AI revolution can be intimidating. Will you be able to keep up? Will AI replace our jobs?
While it’s difficult for me to predict the future (unfortunately), I know one thing for sure: AI might not replace our jobs, but developers who know how to leverage AI will definitely win over those who don’t.
Don’t feel like you need to keep up with AI constantly or know everything. However, do try to familiarize yourself with popular tools like ChatGPT and Copilot while coding. I’ve been solving many coding problems with AI already and can conclude that it drastically improves my productivity.
