This week's question comes from
Jai:
How to connect with a strong network of like-minded or even more talented individuals to continuously improve as an iOS Developer?
Many of you have contacted me via LinkedIn or mail with similar questions. Having like-minded people around you is a great way to stay motivated and grow.
While there are several forums and Slacks, there’s nothing better than finding a local community with meetups. I’ve been learning a lot at local CocoaHeadsNL meetups and met great fellow engineers.
If local meetups are not around, you could consider visiting one of many conferences. You can connect and share personal details to continue the conversation later.
In my opinion, it’s best to find a handful of engineers with whom you can connect regularly. This way, you can get familiar with each other and better support each other’s goals and progression.
