RocketSim: An Essential Developer Tool
as recommended by Apple

Issue 39
Dec 08, 2020

Creating automations is the thing that makes me excited. Not long ago I started rebranding this newsletter by moving to Sendy, a tool that allows me to gain more control over my newsletter.

Today, I've created:
- a Mac app for better curation
- automated newsletter-related tweets to keep you informed
- custom APIs to work with my newsletter editions

What this means for you as a subscriber is that you'll receive more curated content of the same quality you're used to.

Stay tuned!

THIS WEEK'S BLOG POST

TWEET OF THE WEEK

More often than we probably do we should visit the Human Interface Guidelines to stay up to date on what Apple recommends on their platforms. Shihab shares this neat little trick to quickly open it from Xcode.

Although you need to subscribe to watch this episode, I feel like this a great example of what you will get. This episode dives deep into String performance and might teach you even more than that.
Happening again this Saturday. If you can, you want to join this event organized by Allen W and hang out with fellow developers with the same interest!
There are many reasons already to follow Paul Hudson on Twitter but this month there's another one: Daily Swift Tips. Smaller but very useful tips you can directly start using.
After Donny Wals wrote his successful book on Combine, he now started the presale of his book on Core Data. Until the release, you'll be good here but once it's available it's another great resource to learn more about Core Data.
